Nexsan Assureon Storage Solutions Certified by KPMG

Imation Corp. announced that its Nexsan Assureon secure storage solutions have been certified by audit firm KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft.

The audit covers the use of Assureon by organizations based wholly or in part in Germany as part of their efforts to comply with German auditing processes. It also enables Imation and its partners to offer Assureon and its storage backup and archive capabilities as part of the IT solutions they build to store and protect high-value data for end users throughout the nation.

PS 880 procedures certify that accounting-relevant products offered for sale and used properly comply with generally accepted German accounting principles. Solutions are audited in detail to test their processing functions and rules, as well as their security aspects such as access protection and data security.
