StorMagic Collaborates With VMware to Deliver 2-Node Highly Available SvSAN

StorMagic, Inc. has partnered with VMware, Inc. to deliver a solution providing server virtualization and software-only shared storage for ROBO environments, using only a two-server configuration.

vSphere and SvSAN will be combined to deliver HA, high speed and uptime with low TCO.

SvSAN, delivers a virtualized shared storage platform, enables enterprises to eliminate downtime and ensure HA of business critical applications at the edge where disruptions directly equate to losses in revenue and service. SvSAN enables HA through synchronously mirrored virtualized shared storage that leverages the direct attached or internal, cost-effective server storage including solid-state disk and presenting it as a virtual SAN. As a result, SvSAN supports a range of organizations – from those with 10 edge sites to those with 10,000 or more – through minimal IT infrastructure.
