The company registered the most growing rate among biggest storage companies with revenue up 11% Y/Y for its most recent quarter and up 10% quarterly for storage solutions comprising HDS and Japanese business, and 10% for the first nine months of fiscal year.

For fiscal year ended next March, Hitachi expects a yearly growth of 7% at ¥470 billion or $3,946 million, consolidating its worldwide third position after EMC and NetApp, as well as gaining market shares.
