Irish Another 9 Joins Veeam Cloud Provider Program

Another 9 has launched a Veeam Cloud Connect Repository for customers looking to take advantage of the latest Veeam Availability Suite v8 software.

Fast set-up
Through their Veeam backup console, customers can offload their Veeam backups to Another 9. They can store a copy of their encrypted data in a dedicated cloud repository, located in Ireland and accessed via a secure SSL connection and cloud gateway.

Security
With Veeam Coud Connect, a VPN tunnel connection happens directly over the Internet, using a single TCP port protected by SSL encryption. This is possible through a Veeam component called the cloud Gateway, which is responsible for the encapsulation of all the backup traffic inside the SSL tunnel.

Visibility
Built-in WAN acceleration, forever incremental backups, and GFS retention policies. From their desktop, customers can access and recover data, and receive reminders for hosted storage renewal.
