Lite-On Shows EP1 Series PCIe Enterprise SSD

A strategic business group of Lite-On Technology Corporation, Lite-On Storage demonstrates its latest EP1 SSD as well as its line-up of embedded flash products for enterprise, PC client, and industrial solutions at the Storage Visions Conference in the Riviera Hotel Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, on January 4 and 5, 2015.

Lite-On’s EP1 series SSD is an addition to the enterprise product family. The compact size of the EP1 provides the flexibility to data center infrastructures, combating space constraints. Benefits also include high density, boot drive capabilities, and provides the least disruption of airflow in server environments. The EP1 packs a set of features into its small size, delivering performance, reliability, and durability. These features have placed Lite-On Storage as one of the finalists for the Storage Visions Visionary Product Award.

The EP1 series SSD delivers speed with 4KB random read and write performance of up to 120,000 IO/s/40,000 IO/s. With low latencies of 30/40?s, it ensures fast and consistent command response times. It also features power loss protection (PLP), multiple layers of data protection and customizable firmware, which make them a fit for mixed-use environments and application workloads such as OLTP, financial transactions, e-commerce, SQL logging, collaboration and email servers.
