SkySync in Partnership With Autodesk
To integrate BIM 360 field
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on December 26, 2014 at 2:19 pmPortal Architects, Inc., the creators of SkySync, announces an Autodesk, Inc.‘s developer network partnership that will enable Autodesk customers to integrate virtually any cloud and/or on-site storage system with multiple Autodesk platforms.
Portal Architects has already delivered its first Autodesk platform connector which enables SkySync to integrate closely with Autodesk’s BIM 360 Field. Additional connectors are in the works for Autodesk’s BIM 360 Glue, Vault and Buzzsaw platforms.
Joe Lombardi and his team at Shawmut Design and Construction are using SkySync’s BIM 360 Field connector to synchronize their existing cloud storage system with Autodesk’s platform.
“What SkySync does is take one of the industry’s most powerful tools; Autodesk BIM 360, and provides the ability to distribute data faster an more efficiently,” Lombardi said. “The bottom line is SkySync makes BIM 360 even more valuable to an organization like Shawmut.“
