Upgraded ADM 2.3 OS for Asustor NAS

All Asustor NAS users will be able to upgrade online to ADM 2.3, in order to enjoy a redesigned user interface along with applications for both multimedia and business use.
ADM 2.3’s crisp and modern user interface optimizes loading times and provides users with a smoother multitasking experience. Support for SMB 2.0 increases overall transfer performance by 30%-50%.
After upgrading to ADM 2.3, users will be able to a variety of business applications and features including TFTP support and integration with Windows AD infrastructure. With regards to multimedia functionality, Asustor is releasing beta versions for the LooksGood NAS App and AiVideo mobile app for Android.

LooksGood and AiVideo beta
LooksGood is a web-based multimedia player application that features two major functions: Media Explorer and TV Recordings. Media Explorer provides a folder browsing mode which allows users to view all the photos and videos stored on their NAS and gives them the ability to play them online. The TV Recordings function allows users to use supported USB digital TV dongles to directly receive DVB-T/ DTMB digital TV signals for high definition streaming and recording. LooksGood provides a 7 day TV program guide, manual and repeat recording settings along with the ability to start recordings earlier or later for scheduling. LooksGood can be combined with the AiVideo mobile app that lets users take their digital TV and videos on the go. No matter if it is high definition 1,080p streaming videos or favorite TV shows, users will have complete access in the palm of their hands. LooksGood and AiVideo also both feature fast and user interfaces, with recorded programs neatly organized as thumbnails making them easy to find and access.
