She will cover storage and datacenter technologies in the context of overall market trends, cloud, and big data. She will focus on key storage and datacenter trends such as software-defined architectures, cloud storage, and flash- and object-based storage, as well as core storage technologies such as disk-based storage, backup and archiving solutions, storage automation, and DR.
Before joining IDC, she was the datacenter editor at Computer Weekly, the digital magazine and website for IT professionals based in London, Uk, where she focused on datacenters, server virtualization, storage, open source technologies, software-defined infrastructures, and cloud computing, liaising with enterprise CIOs and technology vendors to develop insight into the enterprise IT industry. She is based in IDC’s London office and has a master’s degree in journalism from Mumbai University.
