Sans Digital TowerRAID TR4X12G in 4 and 8 Bays

Sans Digital,Inc. announced the TowerRAID TR4X12G/TR8X12G, 4bay/8bay 12Gb modularized mini SAS HD connection storage towers added to the current TowerRAID series’ products.

The TR4X12G is a 4-bay tower with a single mini-SAS HD (SFF-8644) connection module, while the TR8X12G is an 8-bay tower with two mini-SAS HD(SFF-8644) connections module. With this 12Gb interface, each mini-SAS HD connection generate over 4.8Gb/s, providing performance for demanding applications.

Both of them come standard as diskless models. HDD and RAID controller bundles options are available. They also come with hot-swappable trays inside the dust-resistant ventilating door. The cooling system with temperature control provides effective heat dispensing while remaining relatively noise-free. They are compatible with the 12Gb SAS HDDs, as well as high capacity SATA HDDs. TR4X12G and TR8X12G’s 12G SAS connections with 4.8Gb/s allow the performance generated from your systems’ RAID controller card or HBA.
