InZafe in Norway Using NetApp Secure Storage Facilities at Proact
For online platform aimed at accounting firms
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on December 15, 2014 at 3:09 pmNew company InZafe is basing its business model on Proact IT Group‘s cloud services.
When a company aims to become Europe’s leading supplier of electronic storage for companies’ business documents and accounts data, it needs good partners, secure infrastructure and scalability.
The rules concerning the storage of documents, accounts data and enclosures are being amended. Electronic storage is now permitted where all documents, receipts and printouts used to have to be stored in physical archives for ten years. This change in the regulations is the foundation for the launch of InZafe. With their software, they will safeguard everything companies need for the storage and sharing of their company documentation. Their customers will include accounting firms, lawyers, auditors and others who need secure, reliable storage.
“We will become Europe’s top supplier of structured electronic storage of business documents and accounts data for the SMB segment by offering the best, most secure, most flexible solutions. We will be launching in the Nordic countries and the UK, and we are full of optimism. We do not need to build our own infrastructure, and this is one of the most vital reasons as to why we can grow quickly,” says Øivind Falch, GM at InZafe.
Proact drew the longest straw after a round of tenders collated with a view to finding the right supplier. All data from InZafe’s customers will now be managed by Proact’s cloud services unit. Quality and the best procedures and processes tipped the balance in favour of Proact.
“Proact’s services are very scalable, they have secure procedures and the best structure. We take responsibility for some very sensitive material and need someone with the right certifications and standards to manage this. We hope to be able to place vast amounts of data with their cloud solutions,” says Falch.
InZafe’s basic service automatically gives each customer 15GB of data and a scaling option. As the solutions will primarily be sold via businesses which manage other people’s data, each contract could involve hundreds or thousands of new customers all coming on board at once. The best technology and good procedures are crucial to be able to handle this.
“The average SMB has huge numbers of business documents and accounts-related data. This is why InZafe could quickly become one of our biggest cloud customers. When they are successful in the Norwegian SMB market, we will soon be talking vast data volumes,” says Eirik Pedersen, MD, Proact.
Security in respect of accounts data is at its peak as the solution is supplied as a service from secure data centres. Proact guarantees procedures and functions for storage, backup and DR. The data is stored in customers’ own countries. All communication to and from the data centres is encrypted.
“We are extremely enthusiastic about this contract. We are very pleased to be able to support InZafe now that they have Europe at their feet. We will give them whatever they need, whenever they need it, from the places they choose. And we will give them the best operating standards in the business,” says Pedersen.
To be able to supply services offering the highest possible uptime, NetApp, Inc. have been selected to supply storage for this service.
“We are pleased that Proact has chosen us as one of the suppliers of infrastructure for their cloud solution. We are confident that our storage solutions meet Proact’s particularly stringent requirements in terms of security, performance and scalability,” says Geir Gramdal, channel development manager, NetApp.
