IBM System Storage SAN24B-4 Express Full Fabric feature number 7258 enables the E_Ports on the IBM System Storage SAN24B-4 Express switch (2498-B24).

SAN24B-4 switches sold through AAS already have this functionality included. This feature is being offered as a field install upgrade for machines previously purchased through the IBM System x High Volume Easily Configured (HVEC) and Xccelerator (Xcc) order entry systems.

Key prerequisites
The Systems Storage SAN b-type switch family supports FC connectivity for servers and storage.
