With this dual position, Mark Campbell will continue to oversee corporate and technical strategies, and will also now lead the company’s worldwide marketing efforts.
Brad Miller brings financial and managerial experience to his role as CFO, having served in financial executive positions at several global technology companies. Prior to joining Unitrends, he was the CFO at ikaSystems, where he oversaw the company’s financial operations. Before ikaSytems, he served as the CFO of Emptoris, where he led the sale and subsequent integration of the company into IBM. He has also held CFO and other financial executive positions at public technology companies, including Aspen Technology, Viisage (acquired by L-1 Identity Solutions), Sonus Networks, Sapient (acquired by Publicis) and Wang Global (acquired by Getronics, N.V.). He got his start in the financial world as a certified public accountant with the international public accounting firm Coopers & Lybrand.
EVP and GM James Legg has been promoted from his previous position of GM. He was formerly CEO of PHD Virtual, which was acquired by Unitrends in 2013. He has more than 23 years of managerial and sales experience, as well as a track record of building and growing companies. Prior to PHD Virtual, he served as the VP of WW sales and sales operations at Idera. Previously, he served as the VP sales at NetIQ Corporation, where he helped orchestrate the acquisition of PentaSafe Security Technologies. He started his career in management at BMC Software, where he opened and managed the company’s first remote North American office.
