Intevac Announces Order for 200 Lean Hard Disk Sputtering System

Intevac, Inc. announced an order for one 200 Lean magnetic disk sputtering system.

“As expected, we received an order for a 200 Lean from one of our existing customers in support of magnetic media development and production capabilities,” commented Wendell Blonigan, president and CEO, Intevac. “We expect to ship this system in the first half of 2015.”

The company has approximately 60% of all magnetic disk media produced worldwide.
