Barracuda Extends Email Management Capabilities for Microsoft Azure

Message Archiver and Spam Firewall from Barracuda Networks, Inc. are available in the Azure Marketplace, extending email management capabilities for Microsoft Azure customers.

The Message Archiver and Spam Firewall enable customers to manage their email environments, giving them control of their cloud-based email infrastructure.

Message Archiver for Azure helps customers maintain email compliance and control as they migrate to a cloud-based data center.

Spam Firewall for Azure provides administrators policy control, data leak prevention and advanced threat protection for their cloud-based email.

According to Radicati Group, MS Office 365 is expected to represent 43% of business mailboxes by 2018. As part of the Microsoft Azure Certified program, the Spam Firewall and Message Archiver are now available in the Azure Marketplace. With functionality to provide granular email management, real-time threat protection, and extended email availability, these solutions offer email management, archiving, and security for organizations migrating to cloud-based email such as Microsoft Office 365.

Message Archiver enhances user productivity and reduces cost and risk by simplifying user access, email management, and eDiscovery and compliance. Message Archiver in Azure provides an secure way to archive mail from cloud-based email services like Office 365, and gives organizations a secure conduit from their cloud email provider to an archive running in the Microsoft Azure cloud. It offers customizable email retention rules and allows organizations to designate auditors to apply litigation holds on specific information.

Spam Firewall for Azure
Spam Firewall provides email security, including advanced spam and virus blocking, data protection, DoS prevention, email continuity, encryption, and policy management. In addition to general email management capabilities, the Spam Firewall in Azure affords administrators the ability to customize email encryption policies, configure data leak prevention rules, and customize different delivery actions for various categories of mail from bulk email senders.

The Microsoft Azure Certified designation assures customers that the Barracuda solutions have been tested for readiness and compatibility with Azure public cloud, Microsoft cloud Platform hosted by service providers through the cloud OS Network, and on-premises private cloud Windows Server Hyper-V deployments.
