Akitio USA announced its free Data Multiplier application for the Thunder2 Quad.

Backing up and duplicating files is about 34% faster when compared to manually copying and pasting the files.

Designed with video editors and data imaging technicians in mind, the application requires a few clicks to simultaneously copy the files from one drive and duplicate them onto up to three other drives.

To save more time, you can erase all the destination disks prior to the backup and verify the files afterwards with the same single click. This is useful when time is of the essence and the footage or photos have to be duplicated in the field, before the drives are sent off to different locations.
