Bitcasa Discontinues Unlimited Storage for Legacy Users

Bitcasa, Inc. announced on the company’s blog that the company is officially killing off it’s unlimited cloud storage offerings for legacy users.

For legacy users with unlimited cloud storage accounts will need to transfer to a 1TB Premium plan or 10TB Pro plan to continue using the Bitcasa service. Additionally, all Bitcasa users will have one month (until November 15, 2014) to migrate thier existing data into Bitcasa’s new file system, or they reisk perminatly losing their important data.

All accounts and data not transferred to the new system will be deleted on November 16, 2014.
