Real Time Storage Retrieval From Web, Across Any Connected Device

By LeoNovus, with Amazon S3 API compatibility

LeoNovus, Inc., an Internet and cloud provider with its geo-dispersed distributed cloud services announced its support of Amazon’s API for S3, enabling fast, real-time storage retrieval for LeoNovus enterprise customers.

By becoming compatible with Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) protocol, LeoNovus is able to offer a commonly used protocol to its customers who are looking for a scalable cloud-based storage that is also stable, secure and easy to administer. Via the S3 protocol, customers can access LeoNovus’ storage services for fast, real-time retrieval for day-to-day business operations, while continuing to benefit from its current product offering that provides redundancy and greater DR for BC through geo-dispersed distribution.

We are able to deliver the scalability, HA and low latency that is a primary requirement when dealing with large amounts of unstructured data like videos, images and documents,” stated Dan Willis, chief architect, LeoNovus. “Businesses in industries such as advertising, video streaming and web services rely on real-time retrieval and performance to efficiently store, organize and access data while making it simple to manage.”

Adding S3 compatibility supports a broader base of customers across multiple industries through a well adopted standard API,” said Gordon Campbell, CEO, LeoNovus. “This enables our customers to easily utilize our storage service across multiple architectures to handle their need for real-time access for day-to-day business operations, which adds tremendous value to global companies that deal with large amounts of data across multiple locations.

LeoNovus is currently demonstrating AWS S3 compatibility to cloud customers and will be rolling it out in early Q4.
