Layer3 Unveils Cloud Storage Solution in Nigeria

Layer3 has unveiled CloudShare, an infrastructure into the Nigerian market in a bid to help corporate organisations and businesses.

The company, during the launch in Abuja, said the solution is optimised for critical business use as well as assist them in cloud storage options.

The company said it combines its fibre infrastructure, partnership with global technology leaders and experience in delivering network solutions to introduce the storage solution as part of the Layer3 cloud service portfolio.

The business development manager of the company, Ms. Vivian Atureta said: “CloudShare provides a simple and secure platform for businesses of all sizes to store and retrieve data, media, share files and collaborate easily. According to Atureta, with scalability and affordable pricing, the product is a solution for all businesses, which needs reliable, anytime, anywhere access to business data and files.

“The service runs out of secure data centres in Nigeria and can be accessed over secure virtual private network (VPN) connections or over the Internet from all service provider networks at very low latencies,” she said.

She stated the product is backed by industry-standard SLAs and Layer3’s 24/7 technical support respectively.
