Probax V1.0 Arrived
To manage offsite component of ShadowProtect and Veeam backups
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on August 20, 2014 at 3:08 pmAfter almost nine months of testing and development, Probax is ready to hit the MSP market and make backup management easier and more cost effective.
The beta version of Probax went live in October, 2013, and gave IT channel partners and MSP’s the ability to manage different types of backups from a simple interface.
Since the initial release, hundreds of new and corporate backup partners have been using the platform to manage the offsite component of their ShadowProtect and Veeam backups, as well as being able to sync NAS devices and manage file backups with the FilePLUS software.
MSPs have been turning to Probax to simplify their management of multiple backup types, as well as having access to cost effective, highly-available storage on Australian servers.
The Probax release brings with it enhancements, new features and more speed.
For the v1.0 release, partners will have access to:
- Email reports
- Drive seeding via the portal
- Customer storage plans with RRPs
- Server side Image Manager control for resellers
- Veeam support and replication
- File backup account creation

Long-time partners of the Australian company will notice the introduction of Baxter, the Probax mascot. Baxter will keep resellers up to date with new developments before they log in, and report on the general health of backup chains and even make suggestions as to how to fix them.
