Rob Stein VP U.S. Public Sector, NetApp

He will be responsible for driving all of the company’s government efforts, which include federal, civilian, intelligence, DoD and state and local government and education clients.
He has been with the company since December 2007.
Prior to this role, he was a senior regional director at NetApp and was responsible for Defense Department business.
Prior to NetApp, he spent eleven years at Oracle Corporation, where he held various sales positions, including his last role as the vice president of the DoD sales team. He began his career with BDM Corporation where he employed innovative statistical analysis techniques to assess the operational effectiveness of a Joint C2 system. Prior to joining Oracle, he worked at EDO Corporation delivering commercial-off-the-shelf command and control solutions to the Navy, Air Force, and NATO defense forces.
He received his bachelor’s of science degree in systems science and mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis. He is also a graduate of several courses in leadership, business operations, and IT solutions.
