Fujifilm Dternity Delivers Secure and Reliable Archiving

Using NetApp and most file systems

Fujifilm Recording Media U.S.A., Inc., a subsidiary of Fujifilm Corporation, announced that its deep storage and archiving solution Dternity is now compatible with NetApp, Inc., Windows, Linux, Novell and most file systems.

Dternity gives IT and data administrators the flexibility they need to move and store data and works with NetApp software.

Using the StrongBox DataManager, customers can archive files located on physical NetApp Filers or through virtual NetApp vFilers. Once archived, files are visible on the NetApp Filer with a corresponding reference to the file on the Dternity NAS appliance. When a user accesses a file, the DataMover agent transparently retrieves the file from the Dternity NAS.
