He comes from NetApp and will work to drive momentum around the partner and alliances program.

Howard brings extensive experience building and leading channel and alliance sales teams. Most recently, he served as the VP of global channel sales for NetApp. At NetApp, he held multiple roles in channel strategy and sales during his nine-year tenure, helping grow company revenue and increasing sales from the channel.
He helped launch NetApp’s FlexPod business in North America and led the team from start-up to established business. He also helped develop NetApp’s national partner program and helped grow the business. In addition, he developed numerous, channel programs and initiatives that recruited new partners in order to assist in accelerating growth and profitability.
Prior to NetApp, he held channel and alliance sales leadership roles in North America and EMEA. He held executive positions at Business Objects S.A., Sybase and Apple where he developed a reputation for driving execution of go-to-market strategies that accelerated revenue while reducing cost of sales.
Howard is responsible for the development and execution of Cleversafe’s channel and alliances strategy. His focus is on building pathways to deliver capacity optimized storage solutions that create results for enterprise customers. Through growing the channel and alliances program and by leveraging extensive knowledge of the storage industry and emerging market trends, he will help elevate Cleversafe’s industry position and establish the company as an IT partner of choice.
