848 Offering Egnyte Enterprise File Sharing
In UK
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on July 1, 2014 at 2:39 pm848 Group, provider of cloud and on premise technology to UK businesses, announced the latest addition of Egnyte, Inc., provider of enterprise file sharing technology, to its partnership network.
This partnership solidifies Egnyte’s offering for European businesses who want a more complete file sharing solution which can address all customer scenarios: whether it be cloud-only file access, on-premises storage access or a combination of the two.
Founded in 2010 in Stafford, 848 started out as a provider of support and services for Google Apps which has grown to encompass further partnerships with IT juggernauts like Microsoft, HP and Salesforce today. 848 selected those vendors because they understood every end-user company had an existing IT strategy and any of the benefits of working in the cloud would need to be ‘folded into’ an existing budget cycle and set of decisions that had already been made.
Egnyte provides an enterprise solution to address enterprise file sync and sharing. Its partner program offers 848 the go-to-market flexibility needed when selling this solution, which equates to recurring monthly revenue. In addition, Egnyte’s hybrid approach to file services enables MSPs to take advantage of continued on-premise storage sales as well as third-party software integrations, such as Google Drive and DocuSign.
“As a leading UK provider of IT services and support, Egnyte’s enterprise file sharing solution enables us to provide our clients with a complete end-to-end collaboration solution,” said Kerry Burn, director, 848. “This partnership enhances our portfolio by providing the top-notch, flexible and secure cloud file management services our customers require.”
“We’re thrilled to have a partner like 848 in the UK,” said Mort Jensen, director of channels, Egnyte. “848’s in-depth local market expertise helps Egnyte to deliver enterprise-focused file sharing to UK businesses. And because our solution addresses cloud-only as well as on-premise access needs, businesses can leverage their existing investments in on-premises storage. It’s great to have a partner like 848 who understands both scenarios.”
