Dell Reselling Fusion-io All-Flash ION Accelerator Appliance

Fusion-io, Inc. announced that its all-flash ION Accelerator Appliance will be offered as a fully integrated and Dell, Inc.-branded solution.

Featuring the industry-leading performance and reliability of Fusion-io flash technology, the Dell Acceleration Appliance for Databases, is simple to deploy and purpose-built for accelerating enterprise applications including Oracle, SAP HANA, and SQL Server, as well as virtualization workloads. The all-flash appliance delivers application-focused performance for data-intensive workloads, allowing general purpose storage systems to focus on managing data capacity.

Fusion-io accelerates the data-intensive applications. It provide a portfolio of flash memory products for small businesses to the world’s largest data centers. Dell Acceleration Appliance for Databases combines Dell servers and Fusion-io flash memory to maximize data-intensive application performance. The scalable all-flash appliance features up to 12TB of persistent, low latency flash memory in 2U of space. Customers can also expect simple management and seamless integration with enterprise applications in both physical and virtual environments along with Fusion-io flash memory data protection technology like Adaptive Flashback. For application environments ranging from OLTP to OLAP and from in-memory to NoSQL, Dell Acceleration Appliance for Databases will deliver acceleration.
