Scheduler
It combines a schedulers with device quotas, retention times, and ‘lazy reclamation’ method to maximize the number of available backups should an individual file retrieval or a DR to a particular backup point be required.
MySQL Hot Backups
The software provides hot backup and restore of MySQL databases. Backups are sent directly to the archive medium without creating intermediate files. Restores may be into temporary files or straight back into the MySQL database.
Web Administration
Along with a traditional character and GUI, this provides web-based administration using any Java-enabled web browser. Just browse to the Linux server on the BackupEDGE administration port at any time.
