Online Backup Provider UK Backup Achieves ISO 27001:2013 Acccreditation

UK Backup Ltd, an online backup service provider, has been awarded the internationally recognised accreditation for the new Information Security Management Systems Standard, ISO 27001:2013.

The certification confirms the company’s ongoing commitment to adhere to standards and security practices in order to securely store and manage client data within the organisation.

To gain this accreditation, UK Backup has undergone assessments by the UKAS accredited company ISOQAR (Alcumus Holdings Ltd) to ensure that they demonstrate the ability to protect data to a high standard across all levels of the organisation.

With data security a top priority for both the private and public sector, the ISO 27001:2013 accreditation fulfills the demands to protect both the increasing volume of data stored within UK organisations, as well as clients’ reputation in the industry.
