He is responsible for the oversight of all global marketing activities for Zimbra, including product marketing, product management, partner enablement, demand generation, corporate communications, as well as Zimbra’s digital properties.

Following the merger of Zimbra and Telligent into one cohesive organization over the last nine months, Thierry is coming in as CMO to build on the company’s past triumphs and fuel growth by delivering on Zimbra’s core competencies to its key constituents. Zimbra’s core competencies include open source, secure and private cloud, mobile, global reach through partner ecosystem and user experience. A results-driven marketing leader, Thierry will leverage his track record as a leading force in tech, coupled with his experience steering growing technology companies, to guide the strategic direction of the marketing team.

Previous to joining Zimbra, Thierry served as CMO at Pivot3, in software-defined converged storage appliances. Prior that, he was the CMO at Zenoss and SVP marketing and alliances at NetIQ (formerly Mission Critical Software). While at NetIQ, he substantially grew a 35-employee software company into a publicly traded corporation with over 1,500 employees and $300 million in annual revenue. He also was previously the CEO at Fiveruns Corporation and held various positions in marketing and management at several start-up companies.
Following the introduction of Zimbra’s latest Community product, Community 8.0, and announcement of the company’s new executive appointments over global support, worldwide channels and sales in the Americas, the news of this appointment is the latest in a series of announcements and activities in recent months that testifies to Zimbra’s post-merger commitment to providing valuable benefits to the market and to its customers and partners.
