Continuent Tungsten Replicator 3.0 Certified by Cloudera

Continuent, Inc. announced that its Tungsten Replicator 3.0 solution has been certified by Cloudera.

It enables organizations to replicate transactions from operational database systems such as MySQL, MariaDB and Oracle to Cloudera Enterprise 5 in real-time.

As part of the Cloudera Connect program, this certification on Cloudera Enterprise 5 assures customers that moving the data into Cloudera does not affect the operational capability or stability of operational database systems or Cloudera environments. This is important for customers to be able to trust the quality of the data and the replication process itself.

By providing data integrity with low overhead, it reads and writes information without having an impact on either the source database or the Hadoop cluster. The certification confirms that the data replicated matches the source and target to ensure data quality, and does not stress either side of the replication stream in the process.
