Ctera Opens Office in Germany

CTERA Networks Ltd has opened a German office and appointed Beate M. Lange as its regional sales director for the DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) region, as part of its expansion plan for 2014.

The demand for security in cloud storage services and cloud-enabled storage systems has risen thanks to the growth of unstructured data. CTERA Networks is the provider of a comprehensive cloud storage services platform that allows IT-as-a-Service organizations (whether enterprises or services providers) to combine cost-effective object storage or public cloud storage with a secure, scalable and easy-to-deploy set of storage services.

CTERA’s customer base includes companies and cloud service providers and has tripled in 2013. For this reason, is expanding its operations in 2014, growing the number of employees worldwide by 60%.

 Beate M. Lange brings more than 20 years of IT sales experience and comprehensive knowledge of the storage area in the new position. Prior to joining CTERA Networks, she has held senior sales positions in the DACH region at Druva, NovaStor and Yosemite Technologies Inc.

Gartner named CTERA Networks a Cool Vendor in Storage Technologies in 2013. Earlier this year, CTERA announced that it has crossed the 30,000 unit mark in its cloud storage gateway deployments, more than all other vendors combined.
