Arrow Offering Veeam Certified Engineer Education and Certification

In Europe and North America

Arrow Electronics, Inc. confirmed it became an official Veeam Authorized Education Centre (VMAEC) across Europe and North America.

As part of the new Veeam Certified Engineer Certification Program, IT professionals will be able to become more educated by completing the Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) process through Arrow’s education division within its enterprise computing solutions segment.

Arrow offers the VMCE training in Austria, Benelux, Denmark, Finland, France, Israel, Sweden, UK/Ireland, US and Canada. The training is designed to support systems engineers who are using Veeam solutions as well as pre-sales engineers of Veeam’s ProPartners network.

This new training and certification program has been launched by Veeam and Arrow and addresses data protection in enterprise environments. Both Veeam partners and end user engineers will be able to educate and certify as VMCE.

Veeam is a provider of backup, replication and virtualization management solutions. Each class includes both lecture and hands-on elements that allow students to learn about the technology and its configuration. Arrow trains participants in its own education labs based on real-world customer scenarios. The three day instructor-led training will be concluded with a proctored exam at a Pearson Vue test center near student’s location.

We are pleased to become an approved VMAEC as it further underlines our solution approach for virtualization which is essential in supporting both the channel and end users in their journey to the cloud” says Laurent Sadoun, president, EMEA and head of global services, Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions (ECS) segment.

Arrow education division has offered IT training from IT manufacturers since 1992. It has more than 120 specially equipped training rooms in 45 locations across 29 countries. In addition, the company has increased its woldrwide IT education coverage to more than 60 countries based on the Arrow Global Training Alliance, combining the capabilities of its Global Training Alliance members to Arrow’s (FastLane has been the first to join this alliance). It offers a range of training methods such as virtual classroom training, ILT, video or multiple platform support that enrich remote learning with the same experience than Arrow’s on-site training delivery.
