Cinram Group Assigned Patent

Cinram Group, Inc.,  Phoenix, AZ, has been assigned a patent (8,675,464) developed by William R. Mueller, Brentwood, TN, and Ed Pickutoski, Blakely, PA, for a “dual sided optical storage media and method for making same.”

The abstract of the patent published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office states: “A dual sided optical storage medium which comprises a substrate disk having a first information layer readable from one side of the medium through the substrate disk and one or more information layers formed on the non-read side of the first information layer and configured to be read from the other side of the medium.“

The patent application was filed on Oct. 1, 2010 (12/896,344).
