Mellanox Ethernet Adapters Chosen by Dell

Mellanox Technologies, Ltd announced its 10/40GbE adapters for rack servers and 10GbE mezzanine adapters for blades are available with Dell Fluid Cache for SAN.

The high speed adapters help enable Fluid Cache to accelerate applications such as OLTP and VDI in a scalable, low-latency environment.

Mellanox provides the connection to the low-latency, private cache network on 10/40GbE ConnectX-3 Network NICs. This enables customers to increase mobility and scalability at high throughput while lowering CPU overhead and application costs. Mellanox’s ESXi 5.5 drivers running over ConnectX-3 based adapters deliver the fastEthernet speeds with backwards compatibility to 10/40GbE for infrastructure flexibility.
