He will play a critical role in shaping technology strategy and building upon the momentum of the company’s I/O optimization software product line as the company embarks on its next phase of growth and leadership across transformative trends in virtualization, cloud, big data, and software defined data centers.
“I am honored, energized and extremely excited to be back in a highly active roll at Condusiv. I have a strong team on board and with our V-locity acceleration software for virtual and physical environments we are poised to dramatically broaden and improve server and storage performance for the millions of users we have helped for 33 years. We will continue to evolve and build world class software that dramatically improves conditions at customer sites. We believe we have a great opportunity to be rewarded for doing that well and sharing that opportunity with our solutions provider partners,” said Jensen.
As the company’s original founder and chairman, Craig built a successful software company in the information technology marketplace. Condusiv (formerly Diskeeper Corporation) is the 12th oldest independent software company in the world.
Jensen went on to say: “When a software product begins to take hold in a market, I know what needs to be done not only to support growth but how to accelerate exponential growth.”
“Condusiv has just been recognized in a unique and impactful list of Cool Vendors by Gartner Inc., recently awarded a 5-Star rating in CRN’s 2014 Partner Program Guide, recognized by CIOReview Magazine as one of the Top 20 Most Promising Enterprise Software Companies of 2014, and our V-locity I/O optimization software was selected as a finalist in the Storage Magazine/SearchStorage.com 2013 Products Of The Year. 2014 will be a great year at Condusiv Technologies. Our next release of V-locity will be dramatic and notable, it’s great to be back at Condusiv,” said Jensen.
The company developed Diskeeper and experienced accelerated growth in the PC market that led to over 45 million licenses sold and a 90% footprint in the Fortune 1000.
Beyond file system management software, Condusiv developed caching technology that has been OEM’d by nearly every major PC manufacturer in the world and is installed on millions of laptops and ultrabooks world-wide.
Condusiv’s V-locity I/O optimization software product line has amassed nearly 2,000 virtualization customers.
Jensen added: “I had some great success but I am not finished. There are big challenges facing our customers that the convergence of social media, mobility, cloud and information patterns have brought forth. Condusiv is in a great position to dramatically help and benefit our customers with innovative solutions that harness these forces to create and drive new business opportunities. I have returned to Condusiv because I want to support my team in realizing the goal of seeing their hard work make a big difference for our customers in a meaningful and prominent way.”
