Ltd., based in Pune, specializing in storage, big data, cloud computing, and DevOps.

“Clogeny’s expertise and capabilities captured our attention. When we thought about how it will enable us to support a broader software ISV ecosystem and provide a deeper level of services to our current customers, it was easy to come to this decision. Through Clogeny we will also get a set of strong, talented engineers from Pune, India, which is the hub for file system, cloud, and storage management technologies,” said Sanjay Sehgal, CEO, MSys.
Although Clogeny will become a financial subsidiary of MSys, it will continue to operate from Pune without any changes to its organizational structure. Both the companies will work closely to share expertise and increased value to their existing and future customers.
MSys was founded in 2007 in Chennai, India by CEO, Sanjay Sehgal. After gradually progressing through technology projects for several clients, mostly from the United States, the company established two additional locations: one in Johns Creek, Georgia and the second one in Bangalore, India. MSys has close to 300 employees. MSys has had several clients from both the United States and Europe.
Clogeny Technologies was established in 2009 as a private company headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra, India. The company was established by CEO, Kalpak Shah, and CTO, Chirag Jog. Clogeny is an outsourced product development and software services company with expertise in DevOps, storage, cloud computing and big data. Since its inception, Clogeny has served 35+ customers and has created a differentiated set of offerings in cloud, storage, and DevOps domains.
“We at Clogeny have always put our customers first. When the idea of this merger came to us, we asked ourselves how our customers will benefit from this, and we knew that MSys’s scale and broader expertise would be paramount in providing value to not only new customers but also our existing ones,” said Kalpak Shah, CEO, Clogeny.
Details of the Acquisition
Clogeny will function as a fully owned subsidiary of MSys Tech India Pvt. Ltd., and its US counterpart. Hence, in the future, new client engagements will be initiated under the name of MSys.
