The Citrix Ready program helps customers identify third-party solutions that are recommended to enhance virtualization, networking and cloud computing solutions from Citrix. The IO Offload Engine completed a rigorous verification process to ensure compatibility with Citrix XenDesktop, providing confidence in joint solution compatibility.

The Citrix Ready program makes it easy for customers to identify complementary products and solutions that can enhance Citrix environments. Customers can be confident that GreenBytes’ IO Offload Engine has passed a series of tests established by Citrix, and can be trusted to work with XenDesktop to achieve performant, persistent virtual desktops without complicated workarounds, and at the lowest cost per user, providing customers with a streamlined VDI implementation that offers a cost-effective, persistent virtual desktop user experience.

IO Offload Engine appears as a standard NFS or iSCSI storage target and doesn’t require extra server software, incremental server hardware or additional administration. With its patented zero latency inline deduplication, it processes IO events at SSD flash speeds while reducing the media required to service the storage footprint, without introducing latency in the process.
