Venyu Opens Data Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the $14 million, 23,000 sq. ft. facility offers customers new levels of power density and additional redundancies to meet and exceed the current industry standards for cloud-based data services.
According to market reports, Louisiana is now considered one of the most attractive states in which to conduct business. This past year, Baton Rouge was ranked No.1 metro for economic growth potential in Business Facilities 9th Annual Rankings Report.
Venyu is now building on its 25 years of providing technology solutions and multiple data center builds within the Gulf South region.

With high level of security, the data center features both biometric and ID card authentication at all entrances. Twenty-four hour surveillance covers the facility, which is additionally protected with redundant HVAC systems and advanced fire suppression. The indoor, mezzanine-level placement of HVAC equipment ensures the company can perform both maintenance and upgrades with no disruption to customer service while gaining increased energy efficiencies.
