Zettagrid Chooses Coraid EtherDrive

Coraid, Inc. announced that Zettagrid Pty Ltd, one of Australia’s largest Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) providers, has chosen Coraid as its cloud storage solution.

When evaluating solutions, Zettagrid tested a number of storage vendors and chose Coraid for its scale-out and flexible platform. The EtherDrive platform delivers performance, resiliency and availability per workload across multiple applications with streamlined management, making it suitable for Zettagrid’s dynamic service environment.

Zettagrid is experiencing rapid growth of its IaaS offering. While the growth is welcome, it also creates challenges in the form of storage performance and capacity. By nature, the growth of cloud services is unpredictable, making it difficult to anticipate future storage requirements. Zettagrid needed a solution that avoided long, expensive procurement cycles, forklift upgrades, custom engineering and add-on costs normally associated with legacy storage systems.
