BroadAspect Chooses X-IO

X-IO Technologies (Xiotech Corporation) has been selected by services provider BroadAspect Hosting LLC to underpin its hosted cloud service offerings including broadband, Voice over IP telephony (VoIP) and cloud application hosting.

With a growing demand for performance production storage and tens of thousands of users on its cloud infrastructure, BroadAspect’s existing, aging, storage infrastructure was experiencing capacity and reliability issues. As both a customer and reseller of its storage, BroadAspect needed a storage provider that could deliver a performance, high capacity solution with low TCO to ensure its own margins were met.

After evaluating the market, it picked X-IO’s ISE 200 series and the flash-enabled ISE 700 series hybrid storage systems. As well as providing performance, value, resilience, unlimited scalability and an industry live-year warranty, X-IO came out on top for being able to deliver the margins required by BroadAspect.
