Opero Provided BackupExpert Service, Cloud for Business Orange

After an experience in Silicon Valley, Opero Backup Sp. z o.o. is getting a second wind, and this time reaches the port of a large telecom operator in the world, signing the agreement with Orange Poland (Orange Polska S.A) on service delivery solutions for backup and data synchronization for clients of this corporation.

The agreement between Opero Backup and Orange Poland was signed in December 2013. Since January 2014 Opero has provided BackupExpert service, ‘Cloud for Business’ Orange.

Key headlines of newspapers and IT web portals indicate that 2014 will be significant for the development of cloud services and the demand for them will grow all over the world. This confirms the report by Gartner (Predicts 2013: Security Solutions), indicating that processing in the cloud computing model is currently the fastest growing technology. Gartner, specializing in issues of strategic use of technology and technology management, predicts that by 2015, 10% of all IT services for companies will be provided in a cloud model.

Moreover, processing, storage and analysis of data on a global scale will not just relate to specific sectors of the economy and large corporations. The business value of information storage is constantly growing. SMBs are also beginning to accumulate large amounts of data; hence, their interest in the cloud service will steadily increase and become a part of any company’s strategy.

Opero’s BackupExpert application, available through ‘cloud for business’, is a confirmation of the trend.
