This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on February 20, 2014 at 2:53 pmUniPrint, a division of ACCEO Solutions Inc. in printing virtualisation solutions, today unveiled its plans to increase expansion within European markets with its vendor independent print management software that provides enterprises across EMEA with centralised administration and remote deployment for universal print capabilities.
Following the opening of the technical sales office in Cardiff back in 2012, UniPrint have announced that key software virtualisation channel leader, Keith Joseph, has joined the team as EMEA territory manager.
Joseph, formerly of DataCore Software, relishes the opportunities that the new position brings: “The requirement to be able to print anywhere, from any device, into a secure printing pool that resides within the confines of an organisations’ compliance and print overhead reduction policies without installing specific drivers onto servers or virtual desktops, has to represent the future of orderly printing. We are now actively seeking partners with expertise within the managed print services sector to help with the growth of this technology.”
Indeed, according to IDC’s worldwide growth predictions on market size continuing at an 8.9% CAGR, it’s a market that remains set for strong and constant growth, with IDC noting specifically the requirements of print solutions to effectively service the escalation and growth of cloud based applications, mobile devices and the increasing socialisation of business applications.
Yuri Pasea, CEO, Prianto, an EMEA knowledge based distribution partner for UniPrint who supply partners with virtualisation technologies to complement Citrix, VMware and Hyper-V environments agrees with the IDC prediction and comments further: “Partners simply get selling UniPrint. It delivers much more than a print management solution as it scales across platforms, without printer driver incompatibility, and is not just restricted to Citrix or virtual desktops. Not only does deployment provide the ‘enabled print anywhere’ scenario that employees of today require, but it also helps partners to demonstrate real cost print reduction overheads of around 35%.”
“We are looking to actively double the certified UniPrint partner base in 2014. That may seem ambitious, but we have a new Partner Programme and Portal ready to empower sales already in progress. Potential Partners that wish to find out more can easily download a 30 day trial; or quickly assess opportunities via the online calculator. It’s set to be an exciting time,” Joseph concluded.
Working alongside Keith continues to be Christopher Hathway, addressing the pre-sales needs of UniPrint’s customers with John Karaisko delivering UniPrint sales programmes and leads into the channel.
