Andy Hill VP of EMEA Sales, Gridstore

Gridstore, Inc. announced the appointment of Andy Hill as VP of EMEA Sales.

After nearly 17 years working in the storage sector, he is an experienced and successful channel and sales executive.

As Gridstore looks to establish itself in the EMEA market this experience will become invaluable, as John Ferraro, VP of WW Sales and channel, Gridstore, explains: “I am delighted to welcome Andy to the team as we execute on the next phase of rapid growth and product innovation as the leading provider of software-defined storage optimized to accelerate vital application and VM performance.  Hill spent over seven years at Nexsan Technologies where he has been responsible for all revenue generation and business development covering EMEA. Before joining Nexsan he spent time at SunGuard Availability Services and over three years at S3 (Solid State Solutions). He was also previously part of the Veritas Software team that was acquired by Symantec.

Hill believes that there is an opportunity for Gridstore to make an impact in the EMEA marketplace: “I have joined Gridstore as I believe it has the technology and solutions that can make a real difference to EMEA customers. It is a highly competitive market but Gridstore has an edge on other companies in the space, highlighted by the depth of experience in the senior management team – a team I’m delighted to now be a part of.
