Egnyte Expands Operations With Regional Centers

This expansion will enable Egnyte to meet the growing global demand for enterprise file sharing.
Egnyte’s revenue has doubled year-over-year for the past two years, and the company expects to more than double revenue ending 2014. Its accelerating growth and the expansion of the enterprise file-sharing market overall underscores the need for a platform-based approach that provides complete file sharing, sync, and storage capabilities, and also enables complete control over data and user access.

Egnyte is ope ing an office in Spokane, Washington due to its diverse talent pool fed by Gonzaga and Washington State University graduates. Egnyte has also opened operations on the East Coast to better support its growing user base in the region.
In addition, the company works with a large installed base throughout Europe and will better service its customers with the establishment of a regional presence in London by the end of Q1 2014, as well as continued expansion of the company’s development center in Poland.
Egnyte recently closed a $29.5 million funding round, and a portion of those funds will be used to fuel this expansion, which will also include new hires globally across the development, sales and marketing teams. Some of Egnyte’s recent customer wins include Cracker Barrel, Garda, H.D. Smith, IKEA, Tommy Hilfiger and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.
