Nexenta Distributed by Getech

Nexenta Systems, Inc. announced a distribution deal with UK distributor Getech Ltd.

The agreement is set to disrupt the UK storage market, providing more enterprises with access to a SDS solution that provides enterprise features at a lower cost than the traditional storage vendors.

As a certified distributor of HP, VXL, Samsung and Dell Wyse Thin Clients, Getech Distribution is a distributor for thin client desktop devices and associated products in the UK. It works with most of the resellers throughout the country, wrapping its value-added services solutions and provides and helps all of its vendor partners to grow their market share.

Nexenta is looking forward to working with Getech as we take software defined storage technology mainstream in the UK market. We want to disrupt the MESS (massively expensive storage systems) providers that are currently holding storage users hostage,” states Tarkan Maner, Nexenta CEO. “With data volumes growing at record rates and austerity biting hard, customers are looking for innovative and cost effective approaches to storage and data management.

As with all the solutions we supply, Getech will be offering a fully certified technical support team to support the roll out of Nexenta, providing a total supply and support service.
