Archiving Alliance Storage Technologies Renews Partnership With Kodak Alaris
For maintenance and support for Plasmon branded archiving libraries

(ASTI) and worldwide service provider Kodak Alaris, have leveraged their combined strengths to provide continued quality maintenance and support for Plasmon branded data archiving libraries.
ASTI offers worldwide 24 x 7 support services for Plasmon and ASTI data archive systems through its network of Authorized Service Providers (ASPs). ASP’s are backed by ASTI’s support team with expertise and experience in providing quality support across a variety of industries. ASTI’s ASP’s are certified and required to meet standards for quality service ensuring that all customers receive high level of competency, care and support.
ASTI had a long-standing relationship with Eastman Kodak Company as an ASP; however, with the recent acquisition by UK Kodak Pension Plan (KPP) and subsequent creation of the new company, Kodak Alaris, a new contract was in order. The arrangement is all-encompassing with ASTI’s contribution expanding to include the supply of ASTI manufactured and certified parts, advanced support including software and hardware engineering support, problem analysis, and repair recommendations in concert with Kodak Alaris onsite FE’s. Kodak Alaris will be providing on-site labor and logistics for customers operating under service agreements, and time and materials support for services required outside of contract coverage.
The new contractual agreement between companies is mutually beneficial to both Kodak Alaris and ASTI, combining the expertise of both organizations while creating an advantageous environment with extended service capabilities for customers. The expanded partnering agreement will enable Kodak Alaris to repair and maintain ASTI AA and G Series, and legacy equipment such as Plasmon M, D and 12 Inch Series, Filenet OSAR libraries, as well as HP and IBM libraries. Services will also include installation of new libraries and onsite system upgrades and expansions.
Kodak Alaris boasts service, a high rate of customer satisfaction and industry recognition. Its service infrastructure is extensive with over 80 years of experience and hundreds of Kodak Alaris employed field engineers strengthening ASTI’s ASP network. It offers on-site service with coverage’s to meet customer needs, including priority service, 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
