Archion EditStor 3 RAID With 40GbE Client Connectivity

Archion Technologies Inc. has introduced EditStor 3 to extend its editorial collaboration, near-line and archive capabilities for post production, broadcast, and other creative organizations.

The network storage architecture enables media production organizations to invest in a shared storage platform for demanding workflows, while also knowing the system will support their growth for many years to come.

“With Editstor 3, we have created the next generation of storage for digital video and audio, and most importantly, created a platform that supports the future,” said James Tucci, CTO, Archion.

One feature is the support for up to 16 direct client connections, 10GbE (fiber optics) or GbE client connections, eliminating the need for complex switch architecture.

The platform, with the storage technologies introduced into this third generation, such as PCIe 3.0, is engineered to deliver the media storage technology, including:
