63% Growth in Customer Acquisition for Aptare in 2013
Now with 1,100 clients
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on February 4, 2014 at 2:52 pmAPTARE, Inc., in data center optimization software, announced a growth of its customer base to over 1,100 customers in 2013.
Five of the Top 100 Global Service Providers are now using its solutions to efficiently manage customer environments. By helping service providers better understand their customer’s storage and backup requirements now and in the future, APTARE’s overall customer base grew by 63% in 2013.
With the recent release of StorageConsole 9.0, this growth is expected to continue. It introduced both cloud-based analytics, which provide customers with real-time access to reporting and analytics that help maximize storage efficiencies, and solves problems related to compliance standards, chargeback, utilization, and visibility.
MarketsandMarkets analysis from 2013 predicts growth in the managed services market will grow from $143 billion to $256 billion from 2013 to 2018. The main growth drivers include desire to reduce in-house IT costs and to increase efficiency, which is frequently accomplished by outsourcing all or part of their IT infrastructure to a service provider.
“The economic capability and flexibility of service providers and cloud offerings provide many options to enterprise customers other than to buy and it manage it themselves,” says Richard Clark, founder and CEO, APTARE. “Due to this trend, we increased our investment in a service provider strategy while continuing to deliver the most heterogeneous solution for complex data center environments on the market.”
