Don Basile No More Board’s Director at Violin Memory

 Donald G. Basile has tendered his resignation as a member of the board of directors of Violin Memory, Inc., effective January 30, 2014. Dr. Basile had been a director since May 2009.

He previously served as CEO from April 2009 to December 2013. He has also served as CEO at Fusion-io, from February 2008 to February 2009 and its OOB from August 2006 to February 2009. Prior to that, he was VP of UnitedHealth Group Incorporated, a health care company, from January 2006 to February 2008.

Basile received Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
