Interactive Ideas Trading as CMS Distribution

VAD CMS Distribution Ltd. has completed the integration of Enfield-based enterprise software distributor Interactive Ideas, which officially commenced trading as CMS Distribution on 2nd January.

In two months the integration team appointed in November has transferred all customer, vendor and product information for Interactive Ideas on to the CMS SAP trading platform. The CMS website now lists all Interactive’s enterprise vendors with landing pages on the Test Drive website. Also the Enfield team have been moved onto CMS Distribution email domains.

“In November, we welcomed our new Enfield colleagues into the group and we have commenced 2014 as one big team across four sites and under one company name, CMS Distribution, thanks to our hard working Integration Team. We have big growth expectations for 2014, and this starts us off on the right foot,” commented founder and MD Frank Salmon.

Post-integration CMS’ portfolio now encompasses enterprise software solution vendors, including Red Hat, SolarWinds and Attachmate Group, all of which will be instrumental in helping the company achieve its £200m revenue target for sales.

As part of the integration, in December we launched a ‘Buddy System across the group focused on our key customers and enterprise business to ensure a smooth transition for staff and our customers.”

CMS Distribution is privately owned and employs 215 people in the UK and Ireland. It recently acquired enterprise software distributor, Interactive Ideas and represents now more than 50 technology vendors including Acronis, CommVault, Quantum, SanDisk, Seagate, Red Hat, SolarWinds, Symantec and Toshiba.
