Tintri Launches 50% Guarantee Program

Tintri, Inc., a producer of storage for virtualization and cloud environments, announced its new Virtualize More with Less program to address changing storage needs in an increasingly virtualized environment.

This program is designed to help companies break free from the constraints of traditional storage, allowing companies to achieve performance and efficiency with VM-level automation and control for virtualized and cloud environments. 

Traditional storage was designed for physical not virtualized environments, and to over compensate companies oftentimes overprovision their storage to meet performance demands. In doing so, they increase their capital and operational costs as well as data center footprint. In addition, IT teams relying on traditional storage vendors spend countless hours on complex and repetitive deployment and management tasks, delaying delivery of business services.

• Storage capacity: Move existing VMs from NetApp FAS to Tintri’s VMstore and cut storage capacity and physical foot print needed by 50% guaranteed.
• Deployment times: Eliminate long storage cycles for both new and existing virtualization projects and reduce deployment time over NetApp by 50%.
• Operational expense: Slash operational expenses and overhead by 50%. The Taneja Group, Inc. validated the reduction of operational overhead in moving from traditional architecture such as NetApp FAS to Tintri VMstore at 60x.
