Charlie Foo VP AsiaPac Japan, Fusion-io

Fusion-io, Inc. announced that Charlie Foo will join the company as VP of the AsiaPac Japan (APJ) region effective February 3, 2014.

 Based in Singapore, he will oversee sales, marketing, customer service, and OEM and channel partner development. Previously AsiaPac VP at Brocade, he brings years of experience leading operations in the region to execute corporate strategies for growth within diverse local markets.

His appointment emphasizes our focus on capturing the opportunity we see in APJ as we help customers maximize their business success with industry-leading flash solutions.”

Prior to joining Fusion-io, Foo lead AsiaPac operations at Brocade Communications Systems. He was responsible for building highly integrated sales and marketing teams across China, Japan, India, Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, and surrounding major markets. Foo has also served in senior leadership positions at Symantec, IBM Corporation and Compaq Computers, and holds an MBA from the University of Dubuque, Iowa.
